Water & Sand 7-13 SBJCD These close-up images show a texture rather like bubbling in the thin layer of tidal water backwash after each wave over the sand at Studland Beach on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset. Light is reflected on the top of each shallow ripple in such a way as to give the illusion of roundness and depth. Old photos taken way back in 2016. Click the pictures to see enlargements.
