The flower buds on the red campion flowers have been gradually opening and now are making a splash of bright colour. They looked particularly vivid and glorious the other evening with the light of the low sun just before it went down. Sometimes the stroll at the end of the day is the most tranquil and rewarding.

Thank you, Philip. I am getting a lot from patrolling my patch in the village and seeing the changes from day to day. I have been watching these campions grow and it is lovely to see them coming into full flower now.
