These little flowers seem to be very resilient. I often see them in mown grassy areas where they are frequently trodden on or cut down. Places that people tend walk, among the trees, by the sides of paths, or around the cricket pitch. Patches of purple. A closer look reveals how pretty they are. It turns out that they are Ground Ivy – although they are not really related to ivy at all nor do they resemble it.
