Imaginary seascape

Accidental art, found art, or a simulacrum? The photograph shows a small section of paintwork being rubbed down on the hull of a boat by the River Tawe in Swansea, revealing several previous layers of paint and antifouling. One of a series, this image shows an abstract combination of shapes and colours that sparked my imagination and pleased me in other ways. Somehow it reminded me of stormy waters when the rain is coming down in sheets.
