Recycled old railway sleepers used for a fence by a bicycle parking place in West Bay, Dorset. I love the colours, rusty stains, woodgrain patterns, and textures in these weathered timbers. Each sleeper displaying its unique character. I have posted pictures of these before but not dry like this after the long hot summer this year. The iron stains and the holes where the rivets held the rails to the sleepers could almost be mistaken for a row of owls or other creatures when viewed in a certain way.

Oh, Jessica, I absolutely love these! And I remember that you photographed them a while back. Will look at them again now.
