There has always been a bit of erosion from extreme weather events on the leading face of the dunes at Llangennith Burrows on Rhossili beach. Visitors also contribute to this deterioration. There were always some places that were eaten back, blown out, This time the damage seemed to be more extreme with much wider hollows and marram roots frequently exposed, as you can see from these pictures.

This is the sixth in a series following my steps on a short stroll from Hillend along the shore at Rhossili, returning via Diles Lake and the marsh side of the dunes, February 8th 2022.
