I love this muted color scheme. And it reminds me of a bracelet I received as a gift when I was young- a silver band inset with turquoise and a rusty colored stone I donβt know the name of. The colors were more intense but the color scheme was the same as these rocks you showed.

Thanks, Linda. Yes, that was a particularly nice water-worn rock. I like those tones very much. I could see the design on a silk scarf or wrap.

Thank you, Claudia. They are wonderful colours. I am not certain how they got to be that way. I am wondering if the minerals in the green sediment are converted to the rusty stuff by weathering or other natural process.
