Rock GCC Series Part 2: sedimentary rocks rather than the igneous and metamorphic ones shown in the previous MHCI Series. The photographs in this post illustrate water-worn sedimentary seashore rocks that exhibit cracks and fissures created by later earth movements. One image shows dark pebbles embedded in the rock strata from the time when the sediment layers were originally formed.
