Entropy Series 4 These pictures show flaking blue paintwork on the ironwork of some old agricultural equipment. The weathering is peeling off the paint and the metal is corroding.
I guess the entropy series of images illustrates something for all times – not just this particular one. While everything is subject to entropy, the good thing is that natural organisms and ecosystems (unlike man-made objects) have a way of perpetuating themselves. That is why I am enjoying the spring emergence so much this year.
Yum!

Is this a metaphor for our times? One way or another Nature thwarts man’s efforts and ultimately reclaims her own.
