Cheery little yellow flowers a bit like buttercups, Lesser Celandines (Ranunculus ficaria) are amongst the most welcome of early spring flowers in the English countryside.

They are beautiful and brighten the day. It is good if you can still get out in the fresh air every day – even if you are social distancing.
