The level of intensity of light and its direction can completely alter the appearance of sand on the beach, making natural water-induced sculpturing stand out more in profile, cast shadows, create highlights, and completely alter the warmth or coolness of the colours.

  1. I had to put blogging on hold for a few weeks because I was concentrating on preparing a report about 14,000 archaeological oyster shells while coping with a health problem. Just finished the report and I can get back to the far more relaxing past-time of posting pictures on my blog.
