I am always looking at the way in which wind and light change the surface of bodies of water – whether it is the sea, flowing water like streams and rivers, or confined expanses in lakes and ponds. Occasional visits to urban locations such as London offer plenty of opportunity to hunt for fresh situations in which to capture these fleeting patterns and textures on water. In this case a large pond in the centre of the Barbican development, close to Cripplegate.
