The field of cropped maize has been flooded for several months by the overflowing small chalk river Cerne. Zig-zag patterns made by rows of cut stalks stand just proud of the shallows. Bright sunlight reflects back from the water surface making for striking contrasts to the point of achieving nearly monochromatic images. Ducks are dabbling in the temporary pond.
You are a great photographer, Jessica. Bob

Some nice geometries there. The angle of reflection feels just right!
