The second in a series of abstract images based on photographs of the natural patterns of reflected light on shallow sea water ripples at Studland Bay in Dorset, England.
Thank you, Bob. I remember standing in the warm shallow water on a summer day trying to capture these shots of the ever changing patterns of reflected light as the sea lapped the sandy shore. The water was clear and green, with shoals of small fish and floating ephemeral seaweeds.
Seems to move!

Beautiful colours and patterns! It reminds me that I ought to take time and photograph water just for itself more often.

Thank you, Jo. I love to watch water with its ever changing patterns and textures – and to consider the why and how.
