Bleached white driftwood tree washed ashore on Three Mile Beach at Port Douglas on the Queensland Coast in Australia. The wood was riddled with holes and tunnels made by shipworm.

Excellent Jessica, I imagine those worms would make short work of a ship alright.

Thank you. I was watching a programme on the TV just last night about how shipworms and gribbles are destroying historical seabed shipwrecks like the one in Poole Harbour.
