Fishing buoys, floats, nets, and ropes always provide a bright splash of colour on the seashore when they wash up as flotsam. Here is the first of a series of photographs of some buoys that I have spotted over the last year of Gower beachcombing.

  1. So much gets washed ashore from the fishing industry. I must post a picture for you which I took in January of a tree at a caravan park at Broughton Bay. It had been entirely covered in bouys found on the beach. A fantastic display.
