A striped limpet on an orange rock with barnacles

Just thought this bright picture of a striped limpet attached to a wet, orange-coloured rock, with some acorn barnacles, would be a cheerful addition to the blog on this wet and windy day.

  1. Beautiful color, Jessica, and the limpet actually has sort of a triumphant look–not a word I’d ordinarily think to apply to a limpet, but there it is.

  2. Orange is just the colour to cheer us all up; I recently wrote a post about The Power of Orange Knickers, after all!!!
Lovely photo and I didn’t even have to leave the house to see it!!!

  3. I am having a good day; the dog wanted a long walk, the sun shone and various excting plans are steadily coming together.
    take care
    xx
