Gosker Rock Patterns & Textures 14 Detail of the texture, colour, and pattern of fractures on an intertidal rocky outcrop of Carboniferous Era sandstones and siltstones on a low tide sandy beach where it is weathered by the elements and partially encrusted with mostly black lichen and a few barnacles. The central section has no encrustation because of a recent rock fall.
