




No pretty pictures of flowers this time. This is the 13th post about the transition of a piece of waste ground, with an assemblage of mostly wild native plants, into a designated wild garden. We move on another year to 2022. Now there were some drastic changes. I did not understand what was going on. The ground was being repeatedly dug over to remove the nettles and much else. I was dismayed to see this lovely wild patch apparently being eradicated. To be honest, I was upset and avoided walking past this place for some time. These pictures show how the general area looked on several occasions between May and September 2022.
