A stage in the process of transforming waste ground to wild garden with bare earth and buildings in background

Waste Ground to Wild Garden 13

No pretty pictures of flowers this time. This is the 13th post about the transition of a piece of waste ground, with an assemblage of mostly wild native plants, into a designated wild garden. We move on another year to 2022. Now there were some drastic changes. I did not understand what was going on. The ground was being repeatedly dug over to remove the nettles and much else. I was dismayed to see this lovely wild patch apparently being eradicated. To be honest, I was upset and avoided walking past this place for some time. These pictures show how the general area looked on several occasions between May and September 2022.
