Limestone pebbles and beach stones with seashells on the strandline at Oxwich Bay in Gower. In the sunshine the stones look almost blue in colour. The oyster shell in the middle of the picture looks as if it has been rolling around on the beach for a long time. I wonder how long? Maybe back to the days in the late 19th century when there was a thriving oyster fishery in Swansea and Mumbles?
