Wetlands at Llanelli 4 One of the great assets of this managed wetland site (Millennium Wetlands at Llanelli Wetland Centre in South Wales) is the network of accessible paths that wind their way around the area allowing glimpses of the wonderful tapestry of microhabitats that make up the whole. The composition of the vegetation on each side of the path varies a lot, with the types of plants and the dominant species for one particular location soon merging into another along the way. Each plant association depends partly on the degree of wetness, and supports its own wildlife community.
