Yes, you are quite right, Emma. I like the colours too I have made collage with bits of bright rope) but I know that all sorts of creatures can get trapped in or damaged by plastic rubbish like nets. I have seen nets washed up at Rhossili with dozens of dead fish in them. On the other hand, the rubbish can provide a substrate on which marine life can settle and thrive. See tomorrow’s post.
Such pretty colours but I think that these sorts of things can do damage to marine wildlife (as can all the rubbish flaoting in the sea)!

Bright colours but very dangerous to marine life—that has been my first thought too.
