Sand RBGPSW 11-15: Sand patterns at Rhossili Bay, Gower, South Wales, in October 2013. The flat compacted surface of the beach sand surface has been eroded by wind action to create interesting textures and abstract patterns. Each step along the shore seems to reveal more natural patterns, especially when you look close up.
