Some years ago, I used to give lectures on very basic thermodynamics to biology students and I used an image of a decaying barn to illustrate entropy!

What a coincidence. Sometimes you have to wonder if we are all in a virtual reality machine – like the episode in Red Dwarf if you have ever watched it? Only joking. It is to do with numbers of events and probabilities.
