  1. Hi Jessica, the sheet material you show is called OS board. That’s short for Oriented Strand. I’ve often thought it’s attractive. Others think it ugly. Typically it’s what is the base underlying flat roofs.


  2. I had no idea it had a special name. Thanks for letting me know, Bob. Although it is primarily a functional construction, I always like the way it looks.


  3. I have only visited it once, although I have lived in Dorset for 45 years. I have never seen the Branksome seafront in summer with all the visitors. I have to confess to being more interested in the large number of second-hand and antique shops in the area in times gone by. There are some very pleasant places to live nearby.
