Yes, but not the worst in my area. We did have trees down, blocking roads and pathways. It was too windy and wet for me to venture out – I thought I would just get blown over.

I think the storm was very bad on the coasts and especially in Wales. It was fairly gusty here in Dorset. A garden shed full of gear was lifted over the hedge from the local allotments and crashed into the main road where a lorry collided with it yesterday afternoon.

Oh dear! I hope on one was hurt (except the shed, obviously). It was very windy last night again!

Fortunately, no-one was hurt as far as I know, Emma – but it makes me wary of walking around the village in high winds.
