Barnacles on Beach Stones at Waulkmill Bay

Several generations of barnacles cling to beach stones and pebbles by a river that flows down the shore on the south side of Waulkmill Bay on Mainland Orkney, along with seaweeds and periwinkles, also seeking a living in this sparse habitat.
