1. Beautiful! What kind of tree is that in the first pic, with the amazing bark?

2. Thank you, Jo. I am not certain but it could be Aspen. I noticed recent new plantings of Quaking Aspen with their trembling leaves. On the other hand it might be a type of birch. Any way the bark is attractive and interesting.
