This is the first part of a series of photographs of natural patterns made by ripples in the sand at Broughton Bay, Gower, South Wales. All the images were taken on a single walk at very low tide from Foxhole Point in the southwest to Prissens’s Tor in the northwest.
Beautifully composed and compiled. Your sand pictures are like workouts for the mind.

The patterns are fascinating and so difficult to understand what accounts for the different shapes and patterns.
