You are right. The description together with each image in this series is like a piece of a jigsaw which I hope eventually to put in into context to give the full picture about the complex and interesting geology in this location.

Thank you, Evelyn. I loved the striking contrast in these colours. Sometimes I find it difficult to capture the exact hues in the rocks. The subtleties are can be elusive.

It was just water – it had been raining hard. It enhanced the colours in the rocks and added a texture but was not so good for the camera.
