Close-up of a duck, one of a couple of snoozing birds, perched on a rail along the South Bank Walk on the Thames in London. They were completely unperturbed by passers-by and looked as if they were having a lie-in after a night disturbed by revellers.

There is a pair that stand next to the window of the Garden Restaurant in Woburn Park. Very tame. Waiting for scraps to be thrown out.
