Rhossili is very possibly my favourite beach in the UK. Expansive enough even on sunny summer holiday afternoon to find quiet space for yourself and with fascinating wildife to boot. It was here I first found Sagartia troglodytes (a sand-dwelling sea anemone), plus hermit crabs and a fantastic range of seashells, not to mention an astonishing sunset. Great blog by the way.
Thank you, Ross. Rhossili certainly keeps drawing me back. It has a lot to offer. I must look out for those sand-dwelling anemones. The most unusual animal I have found so far is the left-handed hermit crab Diogenes pugilator which was first described from Rhossili.
Fantastic clarity and definition on those patterns Jessica.
