Thank you, Paul. This shot was taken at the pond where there is a little nature conservation area in my village . A quiet oasis – not many people go there. I thought the pond had ‘died’ a year or so ago but it has now been cleaned up and the wildlife is thriving again.
Hard to put my finger on why exactly, but this is definitely my favourite of the three. I imagine they would work very well framed side by side as a series.
Thank you. Maybe it’s something to do with the fact that Pond 3 is the most representational – the others are more abstract. I had envisaged the images as a ‘triptych’. I have a a row if three picture hooks in our communal hall where I periodically change the photos. I thought the pond pictures might do a turn out there.
