Sound of Cicadas in the Outback

It was hot, hot, hot, in the outback. As we walked along a red, dusty road to Balancing Rock in the Chillagoe-Mungana Caves National Park of Northern Queensland, the noise of the cicadas was the only sound.

  2. Glad the sound came through loud and clear! When I first played the video clip on the Blog, it was rather staccato – as if the cicadas had hiccups.
