Brilliant colours, intriguing patterns, and strange textures, characterise some of the large boulders put on the beach at Seaton in Devon, U.K. to counteract the erosional effects of the pounding waves on the soft red cliffs. If you look at them closely, with an artist’s eye for composition, these naturally occurring designs seem to take on the appearance of some wonderful abstract art, don’t you think?
