What a fascinating landscape—at least as you have presented it. Wouldn’t you love to have seen it form? (Well, not to actually have been there; that would have been a bit dangerous.)

Actually, the cliffs are dangerous all the time as the erosional process with slips and slides happens at any day – more frequently if it has been raining heavily or is very dry in the summer. Recent changes to the weather giving more extreme events have made it very unsafe to walk close to the cliffs in Dorset both here and at other beaches. There was a massive sudden rock fall at a neighbouring beach a few weeks ago. There are videos on the media showing the cliff fall at West Bay.
