The meadows have a tremendous view northwards over rolling hills, fields, and trees. Hardly any dwellings in sight. The horizon extends as far as the eye can see from east to west as well. Ancient trees in long-overgrown hedgerows border each meadow at Higher Ground Meadow, and channel the viewer’s attention down-slope to the panoramic vista.
