Unusually delicate toadstools growing in two locations in the village this week, one on open grass and the other where manure had been piled. I think they are a species related to the Shaggy Ink Cap group Coprinus spp. The caps were translucent and the dry ones had curled back on themselves at the margin and resembled small paper lanterns. The others were still covered in tiny dew drops as they had not been exposed to the early morning sun.
