Purple Columbine flowers (Aquilegia vulgaris) can grow as native plants in the wild or as cultivated garden plants. These red flowers in the grass have a colour that shows it must be the garden sort. Photographed growing wild but as a garden escapee in Charlton Down in Dorset during the coronavirus lockdown 2020.
