Broch of Gurness 13 – A round stone quern for grinding grain into flour alongside the central water tank and hearth on the floor of a house among the archaeological remains of the Iron-Age settlement called Broch of Gurness on West Mainland in Orkney, built with slabs of Stromness Flagstone dating from the Devonian Period about 400 million years ago.
