Broch of Gurness archaeological remains in Orkney constructed with Stromness Flagstone 2000 years ago

Broch of Gurness 8 – Maybe a sleeping area built into the side wall of a stone house amongst the archaeological remains of the Iron-Age settlement called Broch of Gurness on West Mainland in Orkney, built with slabs of Stromness Flagstone dating from the Devonian Period about 400 million years ago.
