I see what you mean, Claudia. Thank you. Sea Fans sometimes wash ashore on the pebbles of Chesil Beach near where I live in Dorset. Here are a couple of pictures for you.

Thank you. They are so beautiful. I’ve never seen one in person, just pictures, but that is exactly what I thought when I saw the rock photo. I guess the seaside location influenced me, if they had been in the woods, I might have said a leafless bush. In any case, this branching shape is what I thought of and I also saw it as gently waving and moving.
