I think this is my favorite. The rock sparkles and the creatures somehow seem magical too.
Thank you, Claudia. The white dots that seem to add sparkle are actually white crystals in the rock. This is the first in the series of hornblende schist pictures from the south side of the beach and they look very different from the metasedimentary rocks on the north side of the cove as shown in the earlier images.

Yes, just from their names I am seeing they’re formed from different processes and it shows in their looks.
