Thick Shell of Crassostrea gigas 11 – Oyster shell specimen dredged in 1987 with abnormal thickening possibly due to the chemical TBT from anti-fouling paints in the water at Poole Harbour, Dorset, England. Paired valves parted to show inner surfaces.
