Volcanic Tuff Louisbourg Lighthouse 10 – Detail of texture in volcanic tuff rock dating from the Neoproterozoic 575 million years ago. The rock is consolidated volcanic ash and minor fragments, and was photographed on the Cape Breton coast in Nova Scotia, at Louisbourg.
