3. Hi there saw a shell on margate beach the weekend there was a few all on chalk and they were almost stuck to the chaulk have you any idea what they might be regards shane

4. Hello, Shane. it’s a bit difficult to say what the shells might be without seeing some pictures. Did you take any photographs?

5. I didnt get any photos but there was a few they looked almost like a volcano

6. Sounds like you might have been looking at barnacles on the chalk. Those are the only animals I can think of that have volcano shaped shells.
