East Cliff at West Bay near Bridport (19)

East Cliff at West Bay near Bridport (19) - In places at the foot of the cliff there are anomalies in the hard beds so that the normal level horizontal strata are replaced by great length of interrupted curves (both upwards and downwards). These may be the result of seabed scouring associated with major storm events just after the layer had been deposited but when cementation of the layer had already taken place.
