Hello, Rob. The photo is unedited but is still a bit of a trompe l’oeil. I took the picture with my back against the cliffs at the southern end of the beach to capture the reflection of Rhossili Down in a large tide pool. Shadow from the cliff cast an additional area of dark blue around the pool. The sea itself remained rough the day after the storm, as you would expect, with masses of surf and surfers, even though the wind had died down.
