Broch of Gurness 10 – A The base part of a house built outside the central broch tower in the archaeological remains of the Iron-Age settlement called Broch of Gurness on West Mainland in Orkney, built with slabs of Stromness Flagstone dating from the Devonian Period about 400 million years ago.
